Daintree Rainforest Village Facilities

Daintree-VIne

Our camp kitchen is one of the best in the rainforest. Two free barbeques, four gas rings, a big fridge plus electric jugs and a real toasters. There are spacious prep benches. The dishwashing sinks have cold water only, so boil the jug for a hot wash. There is ample seating for small and larger groups. The view of the forest from the dining area is simply stunning.

Daintree Rainforest Village laundry is located between the male and female bathrooms within the main campground. Four coin operated washing machines and two dryers  will help you get through the chores easily. Bring a novel or a magazine, or just enjoy the Ulysses butterflies while you do your laundry. There are clotheslines for your convenience in the garden behind the building. Laundry powder, pegs and coins are available from the shop. 5 x $1 wash….5 x $1 dry

Your stay at the Daintree Rainforest Village is a pleasure because of our sparkling clean bathrooms, spacious cubicles and delicious hot water showers. Men’s and ladies bathrooms are fully screened so you won’t have unexpected encounters with bugs and other wild visitors. There are 240 volt power points in the bathrooms if you need to charge a toothbrush or blow dry your hair.

Please be aware there are no chemical toilet dump points within the Daintree National Park. Please use the free dump points at Craiglie near Port Douglas or at Mossman Caravan Park before you enter the National Park.

You have never enjoyed such a beautiful camp fire as the one at Daintree Rainforest Village. Sitting out under the stars and swapping travel stories by the fire is always memorable. Surrounded by the luscious Daintree Rainforest, this campfire is unforgettable. Wood is provided for free, but it is up to you to get the fire started. So gather round with fellow campers in the evening, maybe roast some potatoes or toast some marshmallows. Walk through the camp kitchen to the communal fire circle. Individual fires are not permitted in the main camp ground.

It is not recommended to take caravans on the Bloomfield 4WD track . You can store your van with us in a secure area for $10 per night, leaving you free to explore the Bloomfield Track and Cooktown without the risk of towing.

Our friendly staff are all local residents. They can book Daintree tours at no extra cost to you. They can also help you plan how to make the most of your time in ze jungle.
